Employment Law Solicitor

The Hironator is headed up by Richard Hiron, who is a qualified, practising solicitor specialising in employment law.

Richard trained with a law firm with a strong presence in Somerset and Dorset, before qualifying in May 2016.

Since then, he has moved from heading up an employment law department with a firm in Hampshire to making a brief switch to Human Resources, which invested him with many of the practical skills and techniques of addressing workplace issues that employment lawyers do not typically see on the ground.

As part of this, Richard was sent across the country, typically working with regulated and fast-paced businesses, finding practical solutions to existing or potential workplace issues that also kept clients on the right side of the law.

Now, Richard applies that practical and the legal approach to find the solutions on a more accessible level for employers, employees and those who work with them.

In his spare time, Richard is an avid lover of films (he seems to have been pigeonholed into the realm of a James Bond fanatic, although that’s only the start of his film journey) and reading, but also enjoys walking in the countryside and on the beach, and visiting historic places.
